Control Panel

Set mounted vibration isolated standard control panel containing the following instrumentation/components:

1 AC ammeter with integral selector switch, frequency meter/rpm indicator/hours run counter and AC volt meter combined within one instrument with integral volts selection switch, AC and DC fuses, electrical oil pressure and water temperature gauges, battery voltmeter, manual key start and protection module with LOP/HET/overspeed/charge fail shutdown warning indication.

On generating sets up to 1250A, a 3 pole moulded circuit breaker with thermal and magnetic overload protection is mounted on the alternator, on higher ratings an ACB is provided in a free standing cubicle together with the above detailed control equipment.

Ratings

Ratings quoted represent the normal engine and alternator performance capabilities, guaranteed within plus or minus 5% at NTP conditions, in accordance with ISO 3046, BS 5514 and DIN 6271.

Suitable for supplying continuous electrical power (at variable load) in the event of utility power failure but no overload is permitted.

Fuel

Diesel fuel conforming to BS 2869 : Class A1/2 and ASTM D975, 66T number 1D or 2D.
